The 4 Seasons

One of the most striking ways in which the beauty of nature is expressed is the change from one season to another. We often take this for granted and do not appreciate the changes happening around us.

During the past year, I took up the challenge to capture sets of photos around the subject. In this post I am sharing my favourite set.

All photos depict different trees and each one of them is located in a different country. The Spring tree is in Budapest; Summer is in Milan; Autumn is in Bratislava; Winter is in Straubing.

Here are two quotes I came across which mention the changes between the seasons and how these can be inspirational to our lives.

“Transformations are a part of life. We are constantly being changed by things changing around us. Nobody can control that. Nobody can control the environment, the economy, luck, or the moods of others. Compositions change. Positions change. Dispositions change. Experiences change. Opportunities and attitudes change. You will change.”

“Even nature has hidden lessons for mankind underneath its silent saga. The trees teach us to give without discrimination, the seasons proclaim that time keeps changing for the better and the vastness of the sky bears the amount of love we should hold in our hearts for everyone we come across throughout the day.”

― Sanchita Pandey, Voyage to Happiness!
